At this point of time, I think many of us have heard of 2-in-1 tablets. You know, those tablets with a detachable keyboard dock? Yeah – those, and these Avengers-themed tablets are in that category too. Interesting. Of course, this is not the only announcement that they’ve made – there’s another affordable 2-in-1 tablet called JOI 11 too.
Avengers Tablets
There are two variants of the Avengers tablet – a 10.1-inch version and a larger 11.6-inch version. They both run full versions of Windows 10 – which is very nice. Let’s briefly go through the specs of them.
AVR10T Specifications (RM 1,249)

- Quad Core Intel® Atom™ X5-Z8300 Processor

Of course, the main selling point here is not the specs – it’s the Avengers theme. They actually look very nice, in my opinion. Take a look at these shots.
JOI 11
So the JOI 11 has a 10.8-inch full HD IPS display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8350 processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for up to an additional 128GB storage, 5MP rear-facing camera and 2MP selfie camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB-C connection, and a micro HDMI port.
By the looks of it, this tablet isn’t particularly powerful – that’s because they’re not trying to be powerful. The JOI 11 is a 2-in-1 tablet that’s dedicated for a few demographic – casual users, kids, and the elderly who just wants the power of Windows 10 on the go.
And by the way, there are a few other accessories for the JOI 11 too. Obviously, these accessories do not come together with the tablet itself. It has an accessory called the JOI Active Pen that supports handwriting and drawing, though not many details are provided regarding the pen itself. There are also two flavors of keyboards for you to choose from – the JOI Metal Keyboard and JOI Leather Keyboard.
So you might be wondering – just how affordable is affordable, anyway? Well, the JOI 11 is priced at only RM 899. Surprisingly, the price is lower than many smartphones these days, and it can obviously do more things than a smartphone can.
The JOI 11 is available in GLOO, SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd’s official retail outlets to get your pre-order on the new JOI® 11 in major Aeon and Aeon Big malls. For limited time offers, the first 50 JOI 11 buyers will receive a complimentary Kingston 32GB MicroSD either through GLOO official retail stores at Aeon & Aeon BiG, GLOO Websites & 11street (GLOO Store) marketplace.
