Samsung’s brand new Galaxy C9 Pro has been leaking all over the place for the past week, and now it’s official. Just how powerful it is – that’s another story for the future.

So, the value of the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is quite vast. You get a 16MP rear-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture alongside with PDAF and a 16MP front-facing camera which seems to be the same as the Galaxy A7 (2017) that we’ve reviewed here, and massive 6-inch display with 1080 resolution, massive 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Lastly, there are that massive 4,000mAh to top it all off. Impressive.
However, it’s quite insane for a smartphone to be beyond RM2k these days – especially the Snapdragon 653 chipset that it’s using here. Coupled with a 1.95GHz octa-core processor, Samsung claims to have a smooth user experience. For its battery life, however, I’m not so sure. But then again, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has Fast charging capability for when you really need a quick juice-up.
Should’ve opted for a Snapdragon 625 instead. Can’t go wrong with FinFET-manufactured chipsets after all. In whichever the case, though, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is wrapped in 2.5D glass and full metal unibody chassis after all, and still retains the always-on display feature.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro will be available in stores nationwide starting from 10th March 2017 onwards at RM 2,299.
They’re available in a few different colors too. You can choose between Black, Gold, and Pink Gold.
