On the day of ASUS Incredible Intelligence 2018, we were shown a few new ROG products as well. One segment of the presentation was dedicated towards peripherals – and this is the first time we see these products face to face.

These 3 products were announced shown during Computex 2018, where we got our hands on the ROG Delta headset.

Computex 2018: ASUS ROG Brings More Accessories & Peripherals

ROG Delta headset

The ROG Delta is the first gaming headset to ever feature four hi-res ESS ES9218 DAC which are cascaded with each other. ROG claims that cascading 4 DACs together will create an extremely clear, true-to-life gaming audio that gives gamers a better ability to pinpoint in-game opponents.

The headset also features an airtight chamber and exclusive ASUS Essence drivers with audio signal diversion technology design to provide clear highs and punchy bass. Of course, the ROG Delta is a gaming headset with circular-rainbow RGB lighting effects for unique gaming style. The headset features a lightweight, D-shaped ear cup design for improved comfort. A USB-C connector and an included USB-C to USB 2.0 adaptor make the headset perfect for PC, PS4 and mobile gaming.

ROG Balteus Qi

ASUS ROG Balteus Qi

The Balteus Qi is a RGB gaming mousepad with a performance surface (smooth) with a Qi wireless charging pad around the top right corner. It’s rather unique as well, as it has the dimension of 370x320mm. This is because ASUS didn’t want you to be hitting whatever’s above the Qi charging pad while gaming.

Featuring 15 individually customizable Aura Sync RGB lighting zones for personalization, the mouse pad is also equipped with an on-pad lighting mode button for on-the-fly adjustments and a USB 2.0 passthrough port for easy connections. Apart from ROG Balteus Qi, its sibling the Balteus will also be available for gamers who want the extra flair but without the wireless charging function.

ROG Gladius II Wireless

We here at Nasi Lemak Tech have been long time fans of the Gladius series of gaming mice since the first generation. It’s a fantastic mouse – and I’ve used it for more than 2 years before the scroll wheel officially died on me. The Gladius II was improved even further, ans the addition of another “sniper button” on the thumb resting position is definitely a big plus.

Now, ROG has a wireless version of the Gladius II. It can be connected via one of two ways – through its dongle that transmits via 2.4GHz signal, or through Bluetooth. The Gladius II Wireless also has a 16,000-dpi sensor.

Keeping the modularity tradition of the ROG Gladius, the Gladius II Wireless also has an ROG-exclusive socket design enables easy switch replacements to customize click force for personalized play.

However, there’s one weird thing about the Gladius II Wireless – remember the Balteus Qi that we talked about earlier? For some reason, the Gladius II Wireless does not support Qi wireless charging, and hence you can’t charge the Gladius II Wireless wirelessly. We asked ASUS ROG about this, and we were told that another version of the Gladius II Wireless with Qi charging will be coming in the future.
