Yes – you read that headline correctly. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Unity, the buggiest one in the entire franchise, is set in France.
Assassin’s Creed Unity was a game that was released back during November of 2014 which created the Notre Dame in the game with surrealistic details. To be able to do that, the artist for the game, Caroline Miousse, has said that she took 2 years to nail all the details of the Notre Dame “down to the individual stone”.

France has also vowed to rebuild the and restore the Notre Dame Cathedral to its former glory. With the highly-accurate scans of the Notre Dame Cathdral that was used in the Assassin’s Creed Unity, the Notre Dame Catheral will have a high-resolution 3D scan to refer to and plan the rebuilding process.
You can even go and play Assassin’s Creed Unity now and exploring around the Notre Dame Cathedral right away.
The recent tragedy that happened on Monday evening set the Notre Dame’s spire ablaze and eventually, collapsed. The building is over 650 years old and to have a part of it to turn into ashes.
