We have yet another streaming service her in Malaysia and this time it’s the arrival of HBO GO. It will be available as a complimentary service to the Astro Movies Pack.
As a brief introduction, the HBO GO is pretty much a competitor to services like Netflix and iflix, and it has all of HBO Original content that ranges from series, movies, and documentaries. That includes hot hits like Game of Thrones and Westworld.
All of the latest shows and episodes will be premiered on HBO GO at the same time as the U.S., with additional contents like behind-the-scenes and trailers available to watch too.
The latest series will premiere on HBO GO the same time as the U.S. and subscribers will also have access to additional HBO Original content such as behind-the-scenes featurettes and trailers.
What comes with HBO GO is also the ability to download first and watch later, even without an internet connection. If you want to watch it in real time, the HBO GO app also has a “live TV streaming” option as well.
Ther are multiple ways to use HBO GO. Obviously you can download the app to your iOS or Android device, watch it on your browser on this link, or play it on your TV via Airplay or Chromecast.
Currently, HBO GO is (and going to be) available in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, and many other Asian countries soon.
