Where literally no one thought of doing something like this, Digi pops out of nowhere and offers all persons with disabilities (OKU) with a special Digi Postpaid Plan.
This plan is somewhat a spinoff of its existing plan whereby you can get 6GB of data for as low as RM28. You can get this offer and use it for a lifetime, according to Digi.
To be eligible to enroll for this special Digi Postpaid Plan, you’ll need to present your valid Person with Disabilities (OKU) card and also your NRIC along. If you have a representative to register for you, make sure you also have the proof of legal guardianship alongside the aforementioned documents.
Once that’s done, you can enjoy RM10 discount when you sign up for any Digi Postpaid Plan. All of these plans for PWD customers will also have unlimited calls to all networks.
As another part of Digi’s CSR, all PWD, seniors, and pregnant women will also be prioritized in Digi Stores.
While I do like what Digi is doing as a company for its social responsibility, it is quite unfortunate and saddening that Digi’s very own website is missing the crucial information on the details to apply for this special Digi Postpaid Plan.
The only relevant piece of information that we can see here is from this site.
Also, in its press release, the most eye-catching phrase was “from as low as RM28 monthly for 6GB of data” but there are zero details beyond that bit of information. We also did a search on Digi’s website and we have found nothing.
I do think that Digi can further improve on displaying the information on where and how the RM28 for 6GB data plan can actually be found and applied. As of now, it is nowhere to be found on their website.
