Not too long ago, we spoke to you about the OPPO A57. Now, OPPO came back again and announced the all new OPPO A77. So what’s new?
Well, quite a lot, actually. Firstly, the OPPO A77 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display with IPS LCD (of course, that’s the standard of current day smartphones). As for its chipset, it uses a MediaTek MT6750T, paired with an octa-core Cortex-A53 with 1.5GHz clock on each, Mali-T860MP2 graphics, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. To top it all off, the OPPO A77 comes with a 3,200mAh battery too.
That’s a pretty major upgrade when it comes to its hardware, by the way!
As for the camera, it still uses the same sensor and lens as the OPPO A57 – 13MP f/2.2 with PDAF on the rear-facing camera and a 16MP f/2.0 camera for all your selfie goodness. Other than that, there’s a minor upgrade to Bluetooth 4.2. Everything else remains pretty much the same as far as specs go.
Even the design and aesthetics are pretty much the same as the OPPO A57. But hey – don’t fix what’s not broken, aye?
The OPPO A77 is obviously for those who want a rather low-priced smartphone that is built for taking selfies, but wants a smooth overall user experience and to play some games on it.
OPPO A77 is priced at RM1,398 and it’s available on Lazada right here, right now.
UPDATE: Black OPPO A77 coming soon!
Our initial impression about the OPPO R9s Black Edition is very positive. Now, the Black edition doesn’t have any special hardware – just a special blacked-out metal body.
That change alone is enough to win my heart over its rivaling smartphones. Seriously, have you looked at the black R9s? No? Never mind – look at the black OPPO A77 then. It’s gorgeous.
As of now, we still don’t have the release date for the brand new OPPO A77 Black Edition, but OPPO Malaysia has given us a clue – and that clue is July of 2017. No idea on the date or which week as of now.
We’ll keep you updated when we have more information about it.
