I’m sure many people have already heard of the Huawei P-series of smartphones now. Since the release of the P9 and P9 Pro a few years back, everyone jumped to the dual-camera bandwagon. Huawei has an advantage – their smartphone cameras are co-developed with Leica. The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro was announced at Paris last week, and the pre-order details for the Malaysian market has already been leaked.
Remember – there’s a roadshow for the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro happening on 6th April as well.
This screenshot was seen. It lists both the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro, alongside with its prices and pre-order dates. There’s another gift pack worth RM999 included with the pre-order purchase as well.
The listing was on Lazada, actually. Was – because it’s already been removed. All thanks to this screenshot, we know the pre-order details – sort of. The image is quite blurry and reading the texts is difficult. Also, since this is a leak, take it with a grain of salt.
The Huawei P20 that the Malaysian market will be getting has 128GB storage and 4GB RAM, with a free gift pack worth RM999. The Huawei P20 price is RM2,599.
As for the Huawei P20 Pro, it’s priced at RM3,299. Comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and only the P20 Pro will have the triple camera setup.
According to this screenshot, pre-orders for both the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro will have the same free gift package that’s worth RM999.

Again, this is a leak and anything can change between now and the official announcement. We’ll have to wait until the announcement before anything is set and stone.
[UPDATE]: The above listed pre-order gift pack is from Gstore only. Huawei themselves offer a Canon printer, a Huawei VIP card, and also a Huawei AM61 Bluetooth earphones. These 3 items are worth RM999, according to Huawei.
