As you all know, Sales & Services Tax – also known as SST – is starting its implementation right now. While we’re all grieving over the impending damage on our wallets, OPPO just made the announcement that they’re absorbing the SST and that’s great news!
As a recap, many other smartphone manufacturers are updating their prices to bump up the price by 5% to compensate for SST without sacrificing profit margin. It’s great to see that OPPO is absorbing it entirely.
Another recap – OPPO just launched the OPPO F9 which has a beautiful back, large 6.3-inch screen with 2340×1080 pixels in resolution, VOOC charging, dual rear-facing cameras, 25MP selfie camera, and also a 3,500mAh battery. Of course, the price will remain at RM1,399.
Most important for me, is the beautiful back. Comes in this unique texture that is just so pleasing to the eyes, the OPPO F9 has the most outstanding design for the back of a phone right now.
