In a bit of a surprise, Acer Malaysia is not releasing desktop or laptop PCs in their latest announcement but rather, tablets.
Yes, after quitting the market for quite some time they have announced they are coming back and the Iconia Tab series is their answer with the debut of the Iconia Tab P11 and Iconia Tab A8.
Just to be clear, both models are not gunning for the premium, high-tier market but instead, the budget buys section so that it can become a popular choice among families and students with a wide variety of basic needs.
The P11 just as its name suggests, is an 11-inch machine while the A8 comes in 8.7-inch respectively. In terms of hardware, almost everything in the P11 is a step above the A8 for a clear distinction and you can identify them with the spec sheet below.

Price and Availability
The official price tags for the Acer Iconia Tab P11 and Iconia Tab A8 are RM1,099 and RM699 respectively.
