Not only were a bunch of new and exciting products revealed by Acer at IFA 2024 dedicated to gamers, but they also followed up the AI trend by showcasing new AI laptops in addition to some other peripherals.

Acer Vero PD2528ic

We’ll start with some projectors which are the Vero PD2 series equipped with Gen 4 LED Lighting technology outputting up to 3700 ANSI lumens of brightness while maintaining a superior 120% REC. 709 color space coverage in addition to the 0.65-inch DMD chip providing a 50K:1 contrast ratio.

Models include the Vero PD2328 which comes with 1280×800 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 3700 ANSI lumens while the Vero PD2528ic is at 1920×1080, 16:9, and 3200 ANSI lumens respectively.

Aside from a suite of technology and optimizations including LumiSense, ColorPurity+, ColorBoostLED, and ColorSafe II, the projector unit adheres to spirit of Vero by saving on power consumption and replacement costs through Auto Eco Mode and mercury-free as well as incorporating 50% PCR plastic and 100% recyclable packaging.

Other notable features include wireless projection and screen mirroring, HDMI 3D support, Auto Keystone Correction, compact size, and low TCO.

Acer Swift 16 AI

Next, we have the Intel Core Ultra 200V-equipped Swift 14 AI and Swift 16 AI maintaining their simple and modern look while packing the best-in-class Intel chip for maximum battery life and AI performance.

The 14-inch can go up to Intel Core Ultra 7 258V while the 16-inch can reach the flagship Intel Core Ultra 9 288V respectively, and they can be equipped with up to 32GB LPDDR5X-8448 RAM and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

For display options, the smaller one can either be a 3K or 2K OLED panel while the 16-inch is a flat 3K OLED but both of them are the same in terms of the 90Hz refresh rate, high DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR TrueBlack 500 certification.

And as usual, the full suite of AI-powered features by Acer like PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0 runs through the 1440p QHD IR webcam and tri-array microphone for the best video call session.

Acer Swift Go 14 AI

On the other hand, we have similar models of the Swift 14 AI and Swift Go 14 AI fitted with AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 / Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus SoC for a similar yet different take in the modern laptop market.

The Swift 14 AI is more or less the same as its Intel counterpart barring the screen specs which is an OLED or IPS panel with WQXGA resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Arm-based Swift Go 14 AI rocks up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, 120Hz WQXGA IPS screen, and 1440p QHD IR camera.

Otherwise, one will find the rest of the package pretty standard and maintained across generations.

Acer TravelMate P6 14 AI

Eyeing a new business-ready laptop? Then the TravelMate P6 14 AI with Intel Core Ultra 9 288V is the latest unit that falls under 1kg for being a Copilot+ PC.

The carbon fiber chassis is behind the possibility of this achievement and it goes well with the at max 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, PCIe 4.0 SSD, and 65W battery for a lightweight powerhouse that can last for days.

Not only the classic TravelMateSense key is still here that offers various functions for different work scenarios as well as multilayered security and backup protection for shielding confidential data, cutting edge AI tools are also included like Acer Experience Zone and Live Art 2.0 as well as QuickPanel.

To top it off, a wide variety of I/O ports are available for connecting peripherals including Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, and more.

Acer CS322QK

Next up, we have a couple of smart monitors with this one being the CS322QK at 31.5-inch and 4K resolution with 98% DCI-P3 color gamut while another one is the Nitro GS272U M rocking 180Hz at WQHD resolution.

The thing about them is the embedded WebOS for easy web surfing and online collaborative works without the need for a PC or laptop. They can also do wireless casting and mirroring with other devices as well.

Acer Iconia X12

Lastly, we have a new member in the Iconia tablet family which is the Iconia X12 aiming for that value-packed mid-range segment by sporting a high-quality screen, decent chipset, nice-to-have cameras, and a big battery with fast charge.

To make it real, it also has an optional Bluetooth keyboard and stylus pen to round up the package as a productivity and entertainment powerhouse.
