If you’ve been walking around COMPUTEX 2026, AGI’s booth is hard to miss. Instead of leaning into the usual industrial and enterprise-focused showcase, the company also has something unique at the heart of its booth – a full set of official DANDADAN collaboration front and center across several of its consumer storage products.

What makes the showcase stand out is that AGI hasn’t limited the crossover to a simple cosmetic refresh. The collaboration extends across some of the company’s flagship consumer hardware categories, bringing the anime’s distinctive art style to products aimed at enthusiasts, gamers, and creators alike.

The lineup includes customized versions of AGI’s desktop memory modules and M.2 SSDs, with character-themed designs integrated directly into the heat spreaders. These products are clearly aimed at PC builders looking to create themed systems without sacrificing the performance expected from modern gaming and productivity hardware.

The biggest attraction, however, is the customized version of the AGI ED268 rugged external SSD. While its anime-inspired exterior may draw attention first, the drive still retains the characteristics that made the original model notable. It features a USB 20Gbps interface for high-speed file transfers, making it suitable for content creators working with large media files or gamers carrying extensive libraries between systems.

Beyond speed, the ED268 continues to focus on durability. The drive carries IP-rated dust and water resistance and is designed to withstand drops of up to two meters, making it a practical option for photographers, videographers, and other users who regularly work outside traditional desk environments.

The collaboration also highlights a broader trend seen across the consumer technology industry, where hardware manufacturers are increasingly partnering with major entertainment franchises to attract enthusiasts beyond traditional performance-focused audiences. By combining high-performance storage products with one of the most recognizable anime properties currently on the market, AGI is targeting both collectors and mainstream PC users at the same time.

One thing to note, though, is that these products are exclusive to Taiwan, Vietnam, and the Philippines due to licensing restrictions. So folks outside these regions would need to find other private channels to get access to these.

For anime fans attending COMPUTEX 2026, the collaboration easily ranks among the more eye-catching storage showcases on the show floor, blending performance-focused hardware with pop culture in a way that feels more substantial than a typical themed accessory release.
