Amazfit has revealed the latest top dog smartwatch product in the form of an upgrade to the T-Rex, the T-Rex Pro.
The T-Rex Pro is marketed as the superior outdoor companion to date by the company. Through clearing additional military-grade testing and QC, another 3 is added on top of the original 12 with the support of 4 global satellite navigation systems built directly into the device to pinpoint your position no matter you go. Holding a water resistance rating of up to 100 meters, it also included extra sport modes that make up a total of more than 100 sports activities with proper physical status monitoring.
Let’s talk about looks. The design isn’t too far off from the standard T-Rex and looks almost the same but the angles and overall size have been scaled a little bit to be a bit larger to fit in the adventurous theme while being a smartwatch fitted for action, resistance for extreme temperature changes and shocks is just a piece of cake for it. Aesthetic-wise, the 1.3-inch AMOLED screen is great at displaying clocks, faceplates, and widgets for daily and sports use.
Aside from the usual heart rate, sleep quality, and PAI health assessment system, the FirstBeat function adds an extra icing on top for maximum oxygen intake, recovery time, and training load while ExerSense is an algorithm that triggers automatically when you start to perform 1 of the 8 preset movement detection pattern so that the watch starts recording them by its own.
Availability
No pricing has been announced as of now but all we know is that the 3 available colors are Meteorite Black, Desert Grey, and Steel Blue.
