Amazon Singapore is currently offering free delivery to Malaysia when buying above 40 Singapore Dollars in a single receipt.
Referencing the terms and conditions page for the campaign, all it states is that if the items are not purchased which means fully paid during the limited time period, the free shipping will not be applied.
Some of you might not know that there are certain items that you can only acquire in Singapore and most of the time they might be put on sale by private sellers as well so definitely take advantage of this free shipping bonus as early as you can.
And as for today’s rate, SGD40 is about RM128.69 so give it a little round up to RM130 and it should do the trick of providing a safety net as poor Ringgit Malaysia keeps getting weaker every single day.
But one thing is for sure, please check that the thing you want to buy is eligible for the promotion, and don’t go around and scream Amazon is scamming you. All you need to do is look for the notice “Free international delivery if you spend over MYR128.69 on eligible items” or “FREE international delivery”.
And to quickly note down something that you can’t do, that includes
- Buying from Amazon US and ship it using Amazon SG (What.)
- Applying Amazon US gift cards for cash value discount (No cross currency thanks)
- Certain items that even include Amazon Kindle devices (Probably due to region restrictions on software services)
