ASUS Malaysia has announced the availability of new OLED laptops for the Vivobook lineup that is geared towards casual lifestyle creators looking for decent horsepower and great display.
Taking the spotlight is the Vivobook 14X OLED laptop that is made for the creative workers because it features the ASUS DialPad that transforms the touchpad into virtual buttons where compatible Adobe creative software takes advantage of by providing on-the-fly tools and functions access to make work easier and quicker. It also hosts a high tier 14-inch 2.8K OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, PANTONE validated and provides up to 600nits of peak brightness that also earns itself the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification.
Not a creative worker but needs high computing power and enjoys a good sense of visual clarity and vivid colors? Then look towards the Vivobook Pro 15 OLED that runs a combination of AMD mobile CPU and NVIDIA mobile GPU alongside a 15-inch NanoEdge FHD OLED panel. Privacy heavy users will also appreciate the physical webcam shutter while the overall user experience is lifted thanks to the Harmon Kardon certified speakers and dual fan cooling systems.
Covering the lower spectrum of OLED offerings at affordable price and mild computing horsepower is the Vivobook 15 OLED that targets those who performs casual document work or light photo/video editing as their daily jobs and lay back to enjoy some movies during the night time. The fact that this machine starts at below RM3000 also means that OLED laptops are not as “Tech Tax” heavy as they used to be.
