Aside from the plethora amount of new Zenbook laptops, ASUS also revealed several Vivobook machines for 2022 and there is a couple of surprises this time around.
We’re gonna start with the normal stuff first which is the Vivobook Pro series consisting of the 14X OLED, 15X OLED, 15 OLED, 16X OLED, and 16 OLED variants. Coming in different sizes to accommodate the needs or tastes of a wide range of customers, these creator-focused laptops are all about the top-notch performance because you can go for either Team Blue’s up to Intel Core i9-12900H or Team Red’s AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU and pair it with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti while the memory options can go as far as 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
For the screens, the 16-inch rocks a glamorous 3.2K OLED panel while the 15.6-inch is at 2.8K and both of them run at 120Hz of refresh rate whereas there’s a choice of 15.6-inch 4K 60Hz OLED NanoEdge 600-nit options too! In any case, they are certified with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 600, PANTONE Validated, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Ports-wise, ASUS is being pretty generous too as they are given a Thunderbolt 4 (Intel)/ USB 4.0 (AMD), HDMI 2.1, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, USB-A 2.0, microSD reader, and a 2.5GbE LAN port. Other notable feature set includes a nice FHD webcam and ASUS DialPad virtual rotary control.
On the other hand, the Vivobook S series of thin and light has 4 refreshed models too which are the 14X OLED, 14 OLED, 15 OLED, and 16X OLED. Aimed to deliver performance efficiently rather than brute-forcing, the choice of computing parts is in the max range of the Intel Core i7-12700H/AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 1TB PCIe SSD.
The premium OLED display treatment also counts the S boys in the form of 14.5/15.6-inch 2.8K 120Hz or 4K 60Hz with all the industrial certifications as above. You get the deal.
At last here are the special ones. The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED Artist Edition comes in 2 uniquely tailored designs by Philip Colbert and Steven Harrington. Applied towards the popular 2-in-1 versatile and portable design, the entire package features all the gears with respective visuals made by the artists themselves.
Here’s what can be found within the special bundle.
