ASUS Malaysia has officially launched the new Zenbook OLED 2022 models making up a total of 4 just now.
We have previously reported on selected models so if you want the full explanation of what these new laptops are all about, I recommend you check out the global launch post about 2 weeks ago.
We are first hitting up the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition since it is one of the guys that’s not within the old post. It is basically a special edition (But not limited, so you can get this without running into stock issues) of the Zenbook 14X OLED made to commemorate and inspired by the Mir Project because ASUS managed to get themselves into part of that.
The entire chassis is filled with Mir elements such as a custom paint job, Mir Space Station patterns on the laptop lid, dedicated space bar color, and more. Durability-wise, it also matches the needs for space missions such as extreme temperature resistance from the range of -24°C to 61°C, 4x more anti-vibration capabilities that comply with the US
Space Systems Command Standard SMC-S-016A testing protocols, and more.
As for the more technical parts, it is created and shaped to fit into the Ultrabooks market as it is made to be light and thin. Despite not having any discreet graphics, it hosts an up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 H-Series CPU with Xe Graphics, 16GB RAM, one PCIe 4.0 SSD, and WiFi 6E with the screen being a 16:10 2.8K OLED 90Hz touchscreen with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certified, and carries the PANTONE Validated sticker.

On the other hand, the new Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is not getting an overhaul or anything and simply just improvements across pretty much everything. Running the world’s 1st 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED with 120Hz refresh rate and an enlarged 12.7-inch Screenpad Plus with the new AAS Ultra auto-tilting mechanism, it is now better than ever.
To run the dual-display setup, the top specs can go up to an Intel Core i7-12700H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti with a combined TDP of just 85W that won’t go as harsh towards the temperatures and battery life.
Here comes one of the most powerful boys in the lineup – the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED packing an Intel Core i7-12700H + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 duo encased within an aerospace-grade 6000-series CNC-machined aluminum alloy to achieve a super-tough, slim, light chassis augmented by the IceCool Pro cooling system that ensures zero thermal throttling even with 140W of TDP.
The display is also a total bonkers which is a 16-inch 16:10 4K 60Hz OLED touchscreen display with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, is PANTONE Validated, and can provide a 550-nit brightness certified with Dolby Vision.
Lastly, the Zenbook 14 OLED which is also a light-and-thin member, hosts a variety of feature set that makes it efficient and powerful. Rocking a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 P-Series CPU which is the middle class that balances around performance and power consumption, the 75Whr battery is more than enough to last you through a day or even 2 if you just use it casually.
As an OLED laptop, the 16:10 2.8K OLED NanoEdge 90Hz display makes justice to the price tag despite it being a “mainstream” model which is just great for both working and entertainment. Hit up any movie and the Harman Kardon-certified, Dolby Atmos speaker will churn out enough audio for everyone.
It is also one of the new generation Zenbook OLED products that take on a new design and color which is Aqua Celadon and Ponder Blue as the base while a Kintsugi-inspired design based on traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
