ASUS announced a large number of laptops and all of them have the new Intel 11th Gen Intel Core processor in them. One of these new laptops is also the first laptop to be verified as Intel Evo Platform Design. And yet, within this list of new announcements, not all of them are using the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processor in them a little weird, for sure.
We have a lot of different laptops here – so let’s get going.
ASUS ZenBook Flip S (UX371)
This is ASUS’s latest entry into the convertible laptop. The ZenBook Flip S is a rather tiny laptop and at just 13.9mm thin while weighing only 1.2kg. It comes with a 4K OLED screen with Pantone validation with 100% DCI-P3 cover gamut coverage. Since it is using OLED, it also certified for VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black. As a bonus, it also supports the new ASUS Pen active stylus with 4096 pressure levels.
This ZenBook Flip S can be configured with up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB NVMe SSD. Like many 11th Gen Intel laptops, it also has two Thunderbolt 4 ports.
ASUS ZenBook Flip 13 (UX363)
This is another convertible laptop by ASUS, but with a more modest list of hardware. It’s still 13.9mm thin and only 1.3kg, yet packs a 67Wh battery. It doesn’t have Thunderbolt 4, though.
Still, it comes with a 1080p OLED touchscreen with ASUS Pen compatibility.
It is also configurable to up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics and 16GB of RAM.
ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 (UX564)
For a larger variant, we have the ZenBook Flip 15. It packs a 4K OLED screen with Pantone validation and also 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, all of that good stuff – alongside the ASUS Pen stylus compatibility too.
It also has Thunderbolt 4 port, and can be configured to up an 11th Gen Intel Core processor and coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti.
ASUS ZenBook S (UX393)
For an ultraportable option, we have the ZenBook S. It is a 13.9-inch laptop with a 3:2 aspect ratio screen with a resolution of 3300×2200 touchscreen, and it is also Pantone validated. It is 15.7mm thin and weighs 1.35kg.
It is packed with an 11th Gen Intel Core processor and can go up to 16GB RAM with 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, and it also has Thunderbolt 3 ports.
ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX435EA/EG)
Introducing the ZenBook 14. We reviewed a similar-looking laptop not too long ago. One big difference is the presence of a ScreenPad.
Now, the new ZenBook 14 comes with up to 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics (UX435EA) or NVIDIA GeForce MX450 discrete graphics (UX435EG).
Other than that, it’s pretty much the same except for the Thunderbolt 4 ports and it now also has an audio jack!
ASUS ZenBook 14 Ultralight (UX435EAL/EGL)
ASUS is defining what it means to be “ultralight” as it only weighs in at 980g. The ZenBook 14 Ultralight comes with up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics (UX435EAL) or NVIDIA GeForce MX450 discrete graphics (UX435EGL). This is going to be a really powerful yet lightweight laptop.
ASUS ExpertBook B9 (B9400)
We reviewed the ExpertBook B9450 not long ago, and that laptop surprised the heck out of me with its impossibly long battery life. Now, we ASUS has updated the B9 series with the new B9400. Not sure why the number decreased, but the specs are newer.
The new ExpertBook B9400 comes with up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, dual SSDs in either RAID 0 or RAID 1, and also AI noise-canceling audio for better calls.
One innovative new “feature” here is that the ASUS ExpertBook B9400’s box can be reused as a laptop stand.
ASUS ZenBook 13/14 (UX325/UX425)
We reviewed this laptop not too long ago and it’s already getting a refresh now.
The new ZenBook 13 (UX325) and ZenBook 14 (UX425) now sporting Thunderbolt 4 ports and still remain to be the world’s thinnest 13-inch and 14-inch laptops.
They can be configured up to an 11th Gen Intel Core processor with up to 32GB RAM and up to 1TB SSDs
ASUS ZenBook Pro 15 (UX535) with 10th Gen Intel Core processor
This is the one and only laptop within this announcement to be using the 10th Gen Intel Core processor. It is meant to be for content creators and it sports a 15.6-inch 4K OLED touchscreen with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
To drive all of the pixels, it can be configured with either a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 or Core i5 H-series processor with 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, and 1TB NVMe SSD.
For all I can say, that’s a long list of laptops announced for just one event. Either way, I’m very excited to test out these laptops powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processors. Tiger Lake seems promising, at least on paper.
