#3. Best Pokemon GO Tour 2026 Coordinate in Tainan
Coordinates: 23.000, 120.217 (Tainan Metropolitan Park, TW)
Tainan is one of the most stable Pokémon farming parks in Taiwan – a country already known for incredibly high spawn density and tech-savvy players.
Here’s what you’ll find here:
■ Evenly distributed PokéStops, making it perfect for auto-catch features and grinding items
■ Smooth spawn refreshes during events with minimal lag (Taiwan’s infrastructure is top-tier for mobile gaming)
■ Active local community means lures are constantly running, especially during the Feb 20-22 event window
■ Event-exclusive habitats that rotate throughout the day
One of the smartest plays during GO Tour 2026 is the Tainan to-and-from Los Angeles intercontinental jump. These two cities have a huge time difference in between – that means that you can literally play two “event days” in one.

Pro tip: Start your event day in Tainan at 10 AM local time, farm for 2+ hours, then close the app and teleport to Los Angeles. Wait the full 2-hour cooldown, and you’ll arrive right as LA’s event kicks off – effectively playing two full event days in one.
5 Top Tips for GO Tour 2026 Success
For a time-limited event like GO Tour 2026, where every hour counts, you can’t afford to gamble on random locations. You need the proven spots and proven roadmap to success. Here are some tips:
Tip #1: Stock up before you start teleporting
Before the event, you need to have at least:
■ 300+ Poké Balls (you’ll be catching constantly)
■ Pinap Berries for double candy on new Kalos Pokémon
■ Lucky Eggs for 2x XP during mass evolves
■ Incense to increase wild spawns while you’re at coordinates
The last thing you want is to be at the Rose Bowl during the event with your bag empty which can slow down your progress.
Tip #2: Use the GO Pass progression system strategically
The GO Tour includes a progression system where you earn points through:
■ Catching Pokémon
■ Completing raids
■ Finishing tasks
Playing in areas with many PokéStops and gyms helps you progress way faster.
Tip #3: Target the special backgrounds
One of the coolest features of GO Tour 2026 is that catching raid bosses gives you a chance to get special backgrounds themed to their original games. So you might want to take advantage of this opportunity.
To maximize your background collection:
■ Prioritize raid hours at coordinates with high gym density
■ Do as many raids as your Remote Raid Passes allow
■ Use coordinates to chase specific raid bosses during the hourly rotations on Thursday and Friday
Tip #4: Don’t forget about eggs
2km eggs during this event contain some genuinely good Pokémon like Larvitar, Bagon, Beldum, and Gible. With the halved hatch distance bonus, these are basically 1km eggs.
Use joystick mode to “walk” while you’re at coordinates. Even if you’re just doing slow loops around Zaragoza while catching, you’re racking up distance. Put 9 incubators to work and you’ll be hatching constantly.
Tip #5: Plan for the intercontinental cooldown
For you to play safe and smart without risking your account, you need to plan accordingly as you go about teleporting from one continent to the other. Here’s how you go about it:
■ Start your day in Tainan
■ Play for like 2+ hours, catching everything
■ After your last catch or spin in Tainan, close Pokémon GO completely
■ Teleport to Los Angeles (Rose Bowl coordinates)
■ Wait the full 2 hours (this is crucial)
■ Open Pokémon GO in Los Angeles and continue playing
And that’s it!
