Here’s a brand new, affordable DSLR for you to consider buying. This one is from Canon, and it is the EOS 200D II. It is the latest in the EOS range of DSLR cameras, and is the successor to the EOS 200D. This new Canon EOS 200D II is powered by the DIGIC 8 imaging processor and comes in a compact body, yet still packs a punch.
A few new features that are added into the EOS 200D II is the Creative Assist and smooth skin feature to enable users to take beautiful pictures and selfies without needing to fiddle around the controls.
Canon touts a compact size and weight for the EOS 200D II that comes will a full-fledged functionality yet has an intuitive user interface even for beginners. It also comes with a flip screen that makes it easy for you to frame your shots even impossible angles. And definitely for you to take selfies, too.
It also comes with a 24.1MP APS-C CMOS sensor that has an ISO range of between 100 to 25,600 (expandable to 51,200). Canon also said that the noise level is kept to a minimum at low-light conditions. It can also achieve focus at the minimum AF luminance of EV-4, thanks to the Dual Pixel AF (DPAF) technology.
Canon has also included a feature called Auto Lighting Optimizer to create dramatic sunrise and sunset shots. While on the field, the DIGIC 8 enables a burst shot of 5FPS.
As for videos, the EOS 200D II can record up to 4K resolution. It has another function called Movie Digital IS to retain a sharp footage too. You can also record a 4K time-lapse movie with the EOS 200D II.
As for connectivity, it has a one-touch WiFi button and connect to your smartphone via the Canon Camera Connect app. Within the app, you can control the shutter speed, self-timer, focus selection and more. The EOS 200D II also has Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) which enables the camera to be constantly connected to your phone. This allows you to view the pictures taken without touching the camera.
The Canon EOS 200D II is available today with the price of RM2,999. If you are thinking that your smartphones can compete with a DSLR in terms of quality, I suggest you have a look at this.
