Celcom Axiata Berhad has an ongoing tournament game called the Celcom Game Hero – Space Rider: Star Hunt. There’s also one player by the name of Teoh Kay Sheng, has already won twice – and has just won again. His hat-trick just got in RM100,000 in cash!
Teoh is a 25-year-old insurance agent from Kedah who qualified to the grand finals alongside with 8 other players. They headed down to Celcom’s headquarters for a one-hour showdown. Teoh achieved the top score of 195350 points and the fastest time record of only 14 minutes, making him Celcom Game Hero’s grand champion for the third time.
Previously, Teoh has won Celcom Game Hero – Kill Shot Legacy and also Celcom Game Hero – Knight Clash in April 2018 and December 2018 respectively.
Of course, this is not all about Teoh. The runner-up for the Celcom Game Hero – Space Rider: Star Hunt is the 35-year-old Jafree Erik from Sabah who won a large sum of RM60,000 after scoring 195350 points in an 18-minute time record. The 3rd place went to Mohd Farhan Hassan from Kelantan, who got RM40,000 with a time record of 42 minutes. The 4th to 6th place winners were awarded RM10,000 each while the 7th to 9th place winners got RM5,000 each.
As Space Rider: Star Hunt ends, Celcom starts off their seventh series in search of their new Game Hero. The next game is Super Jones, an arcade-style game where players swipe their way through the seven unique ancient levels. The latest edition offers a unique range of challenges, and more attractive prizes for mobile gamers to bring home.
