For some time now, HP is creating their own gaming brand, OMEN. However, they do have high-end laptop series by the Spectre and ENVY. HP is now specializing each of those series and CES2018 HP is the right time to do so.

Introducing, the brand new HP Spectre x360 15. It’s the “most powerful convertible PC”, as claimed by HP. It’s designed for creative enthusiasts. It’s packed with 8th Generation of Intel’s Core i7-7805G processor and Radeon RX Vega M graphics, and also has Fast Charge Technology. Just like any other smartphones with any sort of fast charging technology, HP claims that the Spectre x360 15 can have up 50% of battery in just 30 minutes of charging.

There’s another variant of the HP Spectre x360 15 which is equipped with a quad-core 8th Gen Intel processor with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 – a mobile counterpart of the GT1030 – and boasts a total of 90% battery charge in just 90 minutes. That’ll last for 13.5 hours of battery life, according to HP.

The brand new HP ENVY x2 is now touted as an always-connected PC, built for always-on and ever-ready usages. Opting for a Surface-like form factor, the ENVY x2 now has a 12.3-inch display with WUXGA+ resolution, Intel’s 7th Gen Y-series processors, 256GB PCIe SSD, and 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

It also touts up to 17 hours of battery life in total and has Inte’s XMM LTE modem that supports LTE-A standards. Perfect for enterprise uses, by the way.

Then there’s the OMEN Game Stream. The concept of it seems similar to NVIDIA’s Gaming-As-A-Service with their GeForce NOW infrastructure. With any Windows 10 PC, the OMEN Game Stream allows you to play the latest and greatest AAA titles with your PC – provided that you have a speedy internet.
