Cooler Master’s latest addition, the MasterBox Lite 3.1 is meant for those who seek a mATX build with a touch of Cooler Master’s geometry when it comes to PC cases.
With the sharp facet at the front, the MasterBox Lite 3.1 is set out to look astonishing in your setup. That front piece of bezel has what Cooler Master dubs as “DarkMirror”, which looks to be tinted glass.
Around the top and bottom of the front panel is a customizable trim that can be swapped for a total of 3 different colors – red, white, and black. You can mix and match to suit your taste accordingly or according to whatever color you feel like on that particular day.
It’s a pretty straightforward case with ample space, as Cooler Master states. There are two 3.5-inch drive bays and a single 2.5-inch drive bay. Comes with a single USB 3.0, a USB 3.0, and an audio in/out jack too.
It even supports up to a single 240mm radiator at the front, too. There’s also another black 120mm fan at the back that is pre-installed. Comes with dust filters for both the front and the bottom.
As for clearances, the MasterBox Lite 3.1 can fit up to 158mm height CPU coolers, 160mm PSUs, and a 380mm graphic card.
Internally, the case itself is covered in black coating completely – and with that transparent acrylic side panel, this is the only way to show off your rig in style.
The MasterBox Lite 3.1 is priced at only RM189, so I think it’s a pretty nice price for what it offers. I suspect that many PC builders these days are moving towards a tinier and tidier build – including myself, actually. Though tiny, these PCs are meant to show off what’s looking good inside.
I mean, 2017 is the year of RGB after all. Gotta look good both inside and out when guests drop by, am I right?
