Creality has just rolled out its most advanced 3D scanner yet, the Sermoon S1, and it’s aimed squarely at professionals who need accuracy, speed, and adaptability in their scanning workflows.
This device is designed to handle everything from tiny coins to full-scale vehicles and even human body scans, thanks to six key strengths: multi-light versatility, metrology-grade accuracy, rapid data acquisition, wide size adaptability, intelligent software, and ease of use.
The Sermoon S1 packs a powerful 1+7+34 blue laser array combined with a 4-lens NIR structured light system, allowing it to switch effortlessly between different scanning modes. Whether you need a single blue laser line to reveal deep holes and narrow gaps, seven parallel lines for fine details, or 34 cross lines to quickly scan larger objects, this scanner delivers.
The NIR structured light mode adds fast, marker-free scanning for large objects and human bodies, covering scan sizes from as small as 5 mm³ up to 4000 mm³ without needing multiple devices.
Other than that, it also comes with superior accuracy of scanning precision at 0.02 mm and volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.08 mm/m, making it ideal for prototyping, reverse engineering, and inspection tasks.
It’s also built for speed, capturing up to 1.4 million points per second at scanning rates of 90 FPS, while its larger single-frame field of view minimizes marker usage and speeds up the process even further. Plus, it can handle challenging surfaces like black or metallic materials without requiring a spray.
