We’ve seen many laptops over the years – but currently, there is a surge in Chromebooks in the market. Dell is offering something unique here – the world’s first Chromebook that is made for enterprises. Honestly, I think that Dell is on to something great here as Chromebooks are very well suited for those who need something that is simple and quick on the go, while having great battery life.
Dell’s brand new Chromebook is made in partnership with Google to unveil the world’s first Chromebook Enterprise.
Businesses of all sizes now have the choice to deploy Chrome devices to their global workforce. And IT can deploy with the same level of security and manageability they expect in a corporate environment. This new Dell Latitude Chromebook Enterprise is a 2-in-1 and offers a powerful and configurable Chrome Enterprise device depending on the scale and performance of these devices that organizations need.
As Dell prides themselves over the Latitude Chromebook Enterprise devices, Dell is also touting world-class security, performance and connectivity features that Latitude customers love and trust.
The highest spec Chromebook Enterprise here comes with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processor. You can also choose between 13- or 14-inch Chrome Enterprise devices, and they come with mobile broadband capability as well – because Chromebooks are essentially an OS that revolves around the Chrome browser itself.
As battery life is important, Dell also has something called ExpressCharge technology. They also tout an all-day battery life. To top all of that, Dell also touts that its new Chromebook Enterprise devices are able to withstand day-to-day abuse as it passed 17 MIL-STD tests.
Another cherry on top here is the integration with Dell Technologies Unified Workspace, so that IT admins in the organization can manage and automate software deployments, security, and support through Dell’s proprietary management software.
The new Latitude 5400 Chromebook Enterprise and Latitude 5300 2-in-1 Chromebook Enterprise will begin shipping next month. The prices vary depending on an organization’s needs. For more information, click here.
