DJI Malaysia has officially brought in the Osmo Pocket 4, which carries loads of practical upgrades from last gen to give even more access and flexibility to content creators of both new and veteran.
They are keeping the same compact, pocket-sized gimbal concept, but pushed the internals further – you’re still getting the signature 3-axis stabilization that makes handheld footage look incredibly smooth, but now it’s paired with a 1-inch sensor that’s clearly tuned for better low-light performance and more flexible color work, especially with 10-bit D-Log support. In real-world use, that basically means cleaner night shots and more room to tweak your footage in post without it falling apart.
For video, it can easily do 4K120FPS, but if you would like some slow-mo shots, then 4K240FPS can be enabled – all within this small stick. Meanwhile, AI is powering the updated ActiveTrack 7.0 system with smarter subject tracking, priority tracking, and subject locking.
Storage-wise, it now comes with 107GB built-in storage, so you don’t actually need an external card to start. On the other hand, you can find the rotating touchscreen at 2 inches, improved controls with additional buttons, and better overall handling. Battery life’s also pretty good, with up to a few hours of recording depending on your settings, plus fast charging that gets you back up quickly. On the audio side, it supports DJI’s mic ecosystem and even allows multi-channel recording if you’re using the right accessories.
