For years, we Malaysians have grown to know a few platforms for buying and selling second-hand items. That’s direct competition with many other buy-sell marketplaces in Malaysia today.
To start selling, you’ll just need to take a photo, describe the item, and set your price. You can even post it to Marketplace or specific buy and sell groups at the same time. Once there’s an interested buyer, they can message you through Facebook itself.
With the addition of Malaysia and Indonesia, Marketplace is now available in 70 countries worldwide.
You can learn more about the Facebook Marketplace here. There’s also a desktop version of the Facebook Marketplace, but for some reason, I am unable to access it though there’s Marketplace on my Facebook app on my phone. Weird.
