Garmin has launched the latest Venu lifestyle series installment, the Venu Sq that packs health monitoring, fitness, and music into a device that is just a great fit for anyone.
There are 2 models for this lineup, the Venu Sq, and Venu Sq Music Edition with the latter support music streaming within the device and Spotify. The rest of the features are shared among the two models.
The smartwatch features a 1.3-inch rectangular Corning Gorilla Glass panel with an aluminum bezel that can resist the most common wear and tear scratches without cracking and the battery can power the device for up to 6 days in smartwatch mode and up to 14 hours in GPS mode.
The health monitoring suite is one of the best in the market that samples heart rate multiple times per second that detects abnormal highs and low in a split moment. Other built-in functions track other parameters too such has respiration, menstrual cycle, stress, hydration, energy level, and more. Something nice to note about it is there are 4 types of breathing cycles: Tranquility for sleeping, Coherence for balance/calm, Relax for stress relief and Focus for concentration.
When it is time to hit the road and sweat it up, the smartwatch has 20 built-in indoor and outdoor sports for exercises such as pilates, yoga, strength training, running, pool swimming, cycling, golf, and lots more. Tracked alongside these workouts are steps, intensity minutes, calories burned, and other stuff. You can also download additional workout routines through Garmin Connect for a personalized experience or with Garmin Coach for professionally tailored courses.
Smartwatch features are mostly found in today’s market. It can receive notifications and get sorted according to their category with Android users being able to reply message directly from it. For emergency contacts, LiveTrack will allow friends and families to track the user in real-time with an instantaneous request for assistance through real-time location to detect incidents as soon as possible.
For personalization, you can use your own photos for watch faces and add additional apps and widgets at the Garmin Connect IQ app store. Colors for the Venu Sq comes in orchid/metallic orchid, white/light gold, and shadow gray/slate while the Venu Sq Music Edition is offered in light sand/rose gold, navy/light gold, moss/slate, and black/slate.
Pricing and Availability
The Venu Sq is priced at RM999 while the Venu Sq Music Edition is at RM1,250. Stocks are now available on Lazada, Shopee, AECO Online Shop, and all authorized Garmin retailers. Those who purchased any one of those will receive a limited-edition batik watch collaboration with Malaysian designer, Seza Zulkeple (First come first serve, while stocks last).
