Over the course of last weekend, the Honor 8X officially went on sales and there many deals for both online and offline purchases. Many units were purchased through HiHonor, Shopee, and on-ground roadshows in MyTown (Cheras, KL), Klang Parade (Klang), Sutera Mall (Johor Bahru), and Prangin Mall (Penang) – but only within these first 3 days, the Honor 8X outsold the previous Honor models already.
The Honor 8X comes with a notched 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a massive 91% screen-to-body ratio thanks to its new COF technology. Coupled with the highly-efficient Kirin 710 and 3,750mAh battery, the Honor 8X can last you a day easily.
In our full in-depth review of the Honor 8X, we liked the big display for media consumption and definitely great for social media as we can now see more than we ever could. The Honor 8X in itself has a rather unique design for the back glass as well.
In case you missed out the launch event where SonaOne and Zizan Razak performed, you can watch it down below:
Looking at the numbers, we are truly honored (no pun intended) and thankful for the tremendous support we have gotten from our fans and customers here in Malaysia. The historic success of the Honor 8X shows that our brand is heading into the right direction, and we will definitely work harder in the future to bring more exciting products and features to the Malaysian market, for our Malaysian fans and consumers.
– George Zhao Zhiwei, Head of Honor Malaysia.
Since the Honor 8X is sold out, how can you get one today? Well, perhaps not today. Honor Malaysia said that it’ll be restocked within the week and customers who have missed the exciting promotions will have another opportunity to receive goodies with purchase on Shopee & HiHonor.com on 19 October from 9 am onwards.
Customers are encouraged to act quickly because only the first 500 customers will walk away with an Honor band 3, and additional RM50 worth of HiHonor vouchers if they buy in on HiHonor and RM50 Shopee coins on Shopee for every purchase of the honor 8X.
