HP Malaysia just announced a slew of products and they’re now putting an emphasis on creators. Like it or not, these products are mere tools of a creator’s trade – but the user experience has to be good so that the creator can create without having any frustrations.
So, HP announced a few new products that are powerful and can integrate with other HP products seamlessly.
HP ZBook Create & ZBook Studio
I personally love this series of laptops. It’s love at first sight for me, and HP also understands that a creator’s laptop will have enough power for gaming as well. So, let’s work and play with the same device. The new HP ZBook Create features HP’s award-winning DreamColor display. HP boasts that its colors are fantastic for VFX artists, animators, and video makers.
To complement the creator’s dream, the new HP ZBook series of laptops can be equipped with up to an Intel Core or Intel Xeon processor, alongside with either an NVIDIA Quadro or GeForce GPU.
To keep everything cool, HP is using a vapor chamber cooling system to help wick heat away from the CPU and GPU. And the battery – HP claims that it’s big enough to last for 17.5 hours.
The HP ZBook Studio and ZBook Create are now available with the starting price of RM11,236.
HP ENVY x360 (2020)
This is a flip laptop from HP that’s utilizing the powerful AMD Ryzen 4000 series SoC that offers fantastic CPU and GPU performance. Of course, since this is a flip laptop, it also has a touchscreen. HP is advertising that they’re using the Corning Gorilla Glass NBT and also supports the HP Stylus Pen so that you can draw and create naturally.
The HP ENVY 2020 laptops also come with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 (worth RM529) pre-installed, and comes with 2 Years of Accidental Damage Protection too. HP’s Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) is designed to protect your HP laptop against any accidental damage. Here are some examples of accidents that this package covers:
- Your system is accidentally knocked off the desk and the LCD screen cracks.
- You accidentally spill coffee on the keyboard and the system is not operating.
- A power surge during a lightning storm causes damage to your system and it will not power on.
The new HP ENXY x360 (2020) is available now, starting at RM3,799.
HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6000 Series
The new HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6000 series of printers offer reliable, high-quality printing with vibrant colors and up to 4800×1200 optimized DPI color and 1200×1200 rendered DPI black output allows you to present rich black texts and bright graphics for everyday documents and photos.
The printers are available in white, which fits into both working and living spaces. And to make things extremely easy, the HP Smart App pairs with the printer to have files on your phone printed. There’s also the Print Anywhere feature where we can print anything even while we’re away from the printer. To ensure that this feature works, HP has a Self-Healing WiFi feature to ensure the printer is always online.
Through the HP Smart App, we’ll get notifications when printing and scanning tasks are complete, or when the ink is running low.
The new HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6000 series is available now, starting at RM459.

HP Creators of Tomorrow Mentorship Project
Since HP is putting creators in the spotlight this time, they’re also giving us the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s best. In collaboration with our superstar talent Yuna and KL Fashion Week, we have the Mentorship Project.
You can participate by submitting a sample of their creative work through the Mentorship Project contest, a handful of young creators will be selected to join exclusive workshops hosted by Yuna.
For the upcoming generation of fashion designers, HP is also collaborating with Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week to discover the next generation of talented designers. With a theme of sustainability this year, 10 young designers will be selected to create a “conscious collection” of outfits that will be featured at KLFW Digital 2020.
