It’s time for Huawei to move away from the last-generation Kirin 710 chipsets, and hence – the new Nova 7i uses the Kirin 810 chipset instead.
It also comes with a 48MP f/1.8 main camera, which Huawei is also adding a body-slimming effect. Just make sure the objects around your subject doesn’t warp unnaturally.
We’re unsure what specs the other cameras are. If we have to guess, it’ll be the standard ultrawide, macro, and a depth sensor.
As for the core specs, the Huawei Nova 7i comes with:
- 6.4-inch LTPS IPS LCD with 2310×1080 pixels in resolution
- HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB internal storage (with NM card support, learn more here)
- 4,200mAh battery, comes with 40W SuperCharge charger
The Nova 7i is using a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as it is using an IPS LCD screen. This button also doubles as a power button.
As of now, we do not know the price of the Huawei Nova 7i. Huawei stated that there will be more details announced on 14th February 2020.
UPDATED: The price is here!
The Huawei Nova 7i is priced at RM1,099 only. While the price is attractive, please do keep in mind that it does not come with Google Mobile Services.
