We are all awaiting for the grand announcement of the P30 series that is happening at the end of this month – and with that said, leaks are going on everywhere at this point in time. One fact that we can confirm is that the MAR-LX2 will be available in Malaysia, and it is supposedly the P30 Lite.
While scouring at SIRIM, we stumbled upon a brand new Huawei phone that has been certified. The codename MAR-LX2, and following Huawei’s tradition in naming their phones, the “LX2” postfix is meant for the “lite” variants of the phones. Doing a quick Google search also reports that the MAR-LX2 is likely the Huawei P30 Lite that is going to be announced at the end of this month. The phone itself will have a 3,240mAh battery. There were no further information available about the P30 Lite.
Once again following Huawei’s traditions, we know that Huawei calls the P20 Lite as the Nova 3e in Malaysia. We expect that Huawei will be calling the MAR-LX2 as the “Nova 4e” in Malaysia instead.
