MediaTek came into COMPUTEX 2026 with two major announcements – They are the CPU supplier behind the new NVIDIA RTX Spark chip, and the name behind the Dimensity AX C-X1 automotive platform integrated into Foxtron.
The platform combines MediaTek’s expertise in high-performance SoCs, connectivity, and power efficiency with NVIDIA’s AI ecosystem and RTX technologies, creating a new category of processors aimed at slim laptops and compact desktops.
Specifically, the 20-core Grace CPU and 6,144 CUDA-core RTX Blackwell GPU make up the raw power together with up to 128GB unified memory, intelligent power management systems, and integrated low-latency wireless connectivity. The company says these technologies allow RTX Spark systems to balance performance and efficiency while supporting hybrid cloud-to-edge AI workloads and advanced AI assistants such as NVIDIA NemoClaw.
The first wave of laptops powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark is expected to arrive this Fall.
On the other side, a multi-year partnership has been struck with Foxtron to accelerate AI-powered intelligent vehicles through the MediaTek Dimensity AX C-X1.
Built on a 3nm manufacturing process and incorporating NVIDIA GPU, AI, and graphics technologies, the Dimensity AX C-X1 is designed to power next-generation smart cockpits with multimodal AI interactions, advanced connectivity, high-performance computing, and premium multimedia capabilities.
Through integration into Foxtron’s vehicle solutions, the platform will support intelligent vehicle controls, enhanced safety features, entertainment systems, personalized AI experiences, and comprehensive telematics capabilities.
