At MINIX’s booth at COMPUTEX 2026, the first thing that stands out is how little it feels like a single-product showcase. Instead, it’s more like the brand’s proud showcase of navigating through various product categories.
The headline act is the ER939-AI Ultra, a prototype mini PC that leans hard into the current AI workstation trend. It runs on AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and can be configured with up to 128GB of RAM, paired with up to 2TB of SSD storage that scales all the way to 8TB.
It’s also packed with serious connectivity, including 10GbE for high-speed networking, which makes it less of a casual desktop box and more of a compact AI and compute node.
Cooling is handled by a Twin Turbo Intercooler system, and while the unit shown is still a prototype, the inclusion of a front-facing LCD adds a bit of personality that feels very on-brand for a showcase build.
Alongside it, MINIX also brought the T4000 and T5000 systems built around NVIDIA’s Jetson Thor AGX platform. These aren’t new in concept, but their presence here reinforces MINIX’s positioning toward developers and AI builders who want plug-and-play access to NVIDIA’s ecosystem inside a compact chassis. It’s less about consumer flair and more about “here’s your development box, ready to go.”
Where things get more unexpected is the display lineup. The SF15 Fold is probably the most eye-catching piece, using a dual 15.6-inch foldable IPS setup that effectively turns into a portable dual-monitor workstation. Each screen runs Full HD at 60Hz, and the whole thing connects through USB-C or Mini HDMI, wrapped in a lightweight aluminum body designed for mobility rather than desk permanence.
Then you’ve got the SF16 and SF16T, which tone things down into a more traditional portable monitor format but push higher quality. Both lean into a 120Hz refresh rate and full 100% sRGB coverage, while the SF16T adds multi-touch support across Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux.
The connectivity story continues with a full lineup of wireless display adapters. The B14 and B21 focus on multi-device casting environments, letting laptops and mobile devices push content to external displays without physical cabling. The C1 Plus simplifies things for USB-C-centric setups, while the H4K and H1 adapters extend the same idea into HDMI-to-HDMI wireless transmission, which is more aimed at home entertainment and legacy systems that still rely on traditional ports.
Then there’s a slightly surprising pivot into automotive tech. The CA520 and CA525 are designed to convert wired CarPlay systems into wireless setups while also expanding camera and display integration. For users starting from scratch, the CP89-HD goes further by acting as a standalone 8.9-inch portable infotainment display with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto support, essentially modernizing older cars without touching the factory head unit.
Rounding things out, MINIX also leans into everyday practicality with compact power gear. The S70 70W dual-port GaN charger keeps things thin and travel-friendly, while the TP170 170W universal adapter pushes into more “everything-in-one” territory with AC compatibility and multiple USB outputs.
