Neffos, the smartphone brand owned by TP-Link, announced two new smartphones at MWC2018. These two smartphones are the Neffos N1 and Neffos C7.

Let’s start off with the Neffos N1. It has a dual-camera system, featuring double 12MP Sony IMX386 sensors at the back of the phone. One of them has an RGB sensor whereas the other one is a monochrome sensor. It’s using the stereoscopic dual-camera system like we described here.

The main benefit of stereoscopic dual-camera system is that the pictures can be really sharp – if the software is done right. It can gather depth information which can be used to create depth of field, also known as bokeh effect, at your own will. We’ll find out when we get our hands on a Neffos N1 for review. It also comes with an 8MP selfie camera with 10-level real-time beauty mode and a 5.5-inch display.

Powering the new Neffos N1 is MediaTek’s Helio P25 chipset with an octa-core that runs up to 2.6GHz alongside with 4GB of RAM. The Helio P25 chipset is fabricated with 16nm FinFET+ technology, making it efficient. Learn more about fabrication technology and how it helps in terms of efficiency and performance here.

Another major selling point of the Neffos N1 is the powerful yet power-efficient MediaTek Helio P25 running up to 2.6GHz. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM, which results in lag-free performance and advanced multitasking and gaming capabilities.

Then comes the Neffos C7. It has a 13MP rear-facing camera, which seems to be a pretty basic phone with not much information about it.

We’ll know more about these phones when we have more information about it. Stay tuned!
