Neffos, the smartphone division from TP-Link – the renowned company that makes great networking devices – is announcing their brand new slew of smartphones in the Spring Launch 2018. This includes their brand new flagship smartphone, the Neffos N1, and two more entry level smartphones, the Neffos C7 and Neffos C5A.
Neffos N1
Firstly, the Neffos N1. We’ve already reviewed it here, and I have to say that the performance is actually very good. For the price of just RM1,099 – I think that quite worth it.
The Neffos N1 is equipped with the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset that has an octa-core processor and ARM Mali-T880MP2 graphics, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The screen is a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display that is sufficient for today’s use, though I do wish that Neffos would opt for the 18:9 FullView display instead. Everything in the Neffos N1 is powered by a 3,260mAh battery.
Though we do understand why that Neffos chose this screen size as it has a very familiar design indeed. Even the camera functions are similar. The Neffos N1 comes with a stereoscopic dual-camera system as described here. It has a 12MP+12MP camera setup at the rear, and another 8MP selfie camera.
From our review, we have stated that the Neffos N1 is indeed a very good smartphone for the price. The chipset is fabricated with 16nm FinFET technology, hence its efficiency is up to today’s standard. With that said, this is also the one smartphone with the lowest price that has a fast charger. Yes, the Neffos N1 has a 9V 2A charger too!
Let’s not forget that it has a silence switch toggle at the side too – just like the OnePlus series of smartphones.
