According to source, it is said that the upcoming version of Android – Key Lime Pie – to be delayed by 2 or 4 months and will not make it in time for Google I/O this year.
According to the the source again, it is said that Google is trying to give manufacturers a chance to get as many of their phones to run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean first before releasing the next version of Android. This is to close up the gap between versions as Android devices are currently suffering heavily from delayed updates.
It might also be delayed for the upcoming version of Android for the Nexus 5 – the rumoured 5”, 1080p screen with a new Snapdragon 600 processor that has LTE and also with a 32GB storage that is set to replace the current Nexus 4.
