Here’s the brand new OnePlus 6 – a smartphone that many people are actually looking forward to. With the price of RM2,399, are you going to get one for yourself?

The brand new flagship comes equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 chipset, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFA 2.1 storage, 16MP+20MP dual-camera system and also with OnePlus’s critically-acclaimed Dash Charge. Just like many other smartphones that are released this year, it comes with a 6.28-inch 19:9 aspect ratio notched display with 2280×1080 resolution. The display technology however, is an Optic AMOLED display.

The OnePlus 6 comes running with OxygenOS based on Android Oreo, designed to refine stock Android’s core functionalities with features and optimizations that add value to the user experience. The improved Alert Slider on the OnePlus 6 now has three toggles: Ring, Vibrate, and Silent.

OnePlus 6 will be available from 5th to 7th June for exclusive pre-order on OnePlus’s Official Lazada Store. Customers will receive Lazada voucher worth RM50 for every pre-order.

The OnePlus 6 will be available for direct purchase through Mi Han Sdn Bhd authorised retailers starting 10 June onwards with the following variants and recommended retail prices:

  • 6GB RAM | 64GB Storage – RM2,399 [Mirror Black]
  • 8GB RAM | 128GB Storage – RM2,799 [Mirror Black/Midnight Black/Silk White]
  • 8GB RAM | 256GB Storage – RM3,099 [Midnight Black]

If you’re worried about the genuinity of the unit of OnePlus 6 you’re purchasing, make sure it’s distributed by Mi Han Sdn. Bhd. They’re the only sole authorized distributor in Malaysia.

Honestly speaking, the OnePlus 6 seems to be falling out of its original mantra of a flagship killer. For one, the Honor 10’s low price has already killed the OnePlus 6. Also, have you looked at ridiculous price that the OPPO R15 Pro is asking?

Honestly, OnePlus needs to do something to stand out from the crowd. If they can’t lower the price further, then it’s a difficult purchase.
