Today marks the date that OPPO Malaysia finally shows us the OPPO Reno series of smartphones. A while back, we have already played with the Reno, though it was concealed. OPPO highlights that the Reno series of smartphones has something called the “10x lossless zoom”.
The OPPO Reno is an entirely new series of smartphones that fit into the family, and the OPPO Reno spans from mid-range to high-end devices. Today, OPPO Malaysia focuses only on the Reno itself. Honestly, I prefer the Ocean Green color. As for the price, OPPO Malaysia has priced the OPPO Reno at RM1,999. Quite hefty.
Pre-orders for the Reno begins 17th May until 27th May 2019 at OPPO’s official online store and also authorized stores and dealers. All pre-orders will come with freebies as well:
- Smart Battery Casing worth RM199
- Extended one year warranty worth RM119
- Screen protection warranty worth RM119
We thought that the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom edition will be launching as well – but unfortunately, it won’t be here today. Also, the core specs of the OPPO Reno itself is actually very similar to the higher-tiered Realme 3 Pro (review) that was released not too long ago, and priced at RM1,099 only. That makes the Reno very niche, and we wonder what’s the price of the 10x Zoom Edition going to be when it arrives to Malaysia.
UPDATE: OPPO Malaysia just announced that the Reno 10x Zoom Edition will be the in market too!
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Edition is officially in Malaysia with the price at RM3,399.
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, as the name implies, has a the touted “10x lossless zoom” and can zoom up to 60x digitally – 10x more than the Huawei P30 Pro.
The pre-order for the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom will be available starting from 27th May at 1pm to 17th June 2019, and you can also get up to RM877 worth of free gift:
