Touch ‘n Go, or TNG, just announced that you can now pay tolls with a brand new method called PayDirect. For selected highways in Klang Valley today, you can pay your toll fees with one more brand new method.

PayDirect is the new feature that you can use to pay tolls. This is only available for users who linked their TnG card to the eWallet app. With PayDirect activate, you can tap your TnG card or use SmartTAG at the toll booths as usual. But instead of deducting your TnG credit, it will deduct from your TnG eWallet directly. Hence, the name PayDirect.

PayDirect enables users to no longer worry about reloading their TnG cards and worrying there won’t be enough credits to go through the toll, and have to queue forever at those “tambah nilai” lanes.

The best part is, PayDirect users won’t be subjected to the reload fee of RM0.50!

In conjunction with the introduction of “PayDirect”, users of the eWallet can enjoy 20% rebates for up to 10 times for toll fares when they add their physical TnG card to the eWallet. This rebate offer runs from 21 February to 30 June 2019. In addition to this, users will also be able to provide an identifier for their cards, view their transaction history, check their card balance, and email their statements for up to 90-days.

Currently, Touch ‘n Go is expanding to have this feature enabled at more participating highways nationwide.

Other than toll payments, PayDirect will also soon be available in other paces like transit, parking, and also merchants.
