Well, it is finally official for Xiaomi to announce the POCO X3 Pro and F3 during the #PowerMeetSpeed global launch event.

As the POCO we know and love, they always manage to turn up ahead for the race between price to performance ratio, and the X3 Pro is another product doing just that, you can’t really go wrong with a device at this price point, even if it does the damage to your wallet will not be as a detriment in my opinion. Meanwhile, the F3 is for you with the extra budget but in exchange for a slightly better SoC among other quality of life upgrades.

Here’s what these 2 devices have packed within themselves.

POCO X3 Pro

Aside from using high-performance hardware, the overall design did not go through a major redesign process as compared to other brands. However, when pitting against the X3 NFC, the camera modules did get a slight nerf but horsepower-driven users usually care less about photo and camera qualities though.

The new POCO X3 Pro is also the world’s first smartphone to be using the new Snapdragon 860 chipset – and we also did a gaming test. Here’s what you can expect out of its performance.

Also, we did an unboxing for the POCO X3 Pro. It does come with a charger and also a transparent TPU case, and POCO also added a few extras inside too. Watch our unboxing to learn all about it.

POCO F3

POCO F3

  • 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay
    • 1080p resolution
    • Punch hole notch at middle
    • 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz sampling rate

    • Peak 1300nits brightness

  • Up to 8GB RAM
  • Up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, expandable up to 1TB
  • Triple rear-facing cameras
    • Main: 48MP f/1.79 with AF
    • Ultra-wide: 8MP f/2.2
    • Telemacro: 5MP f/2.4
  • 20MP f/2.2 selfie camera
  • 4,520mAh battery
    • USB-C 33W Fast Charge
  • Arctic White, Night Black, Deep Ocean Blue colors

The POCO F3 comes with an all-original design and packs the Snapdragon 870 chipset instead of the most powerful Snapdragon 888. Not sure what’s the reason behind it, but perhaps it is due to the infamous overheating issue that the Snapdragon 888 has.

In any case, the Snapdragon 870 is still a very powerful chipset when compared to the Snapdragon 888.
