The Realme 3 Pro was just launched in India not too long ago, and it is now already in Malaysia. This is the new Realme 3 Pro, which is built with speed in mind. Even the design does scream “speed” as it has some subtle lines that runs along the entire length of the phone.
We do not know any details of the smartphone in terms of price and availability yet, but we are expecting three colors to be available in Malaysia – Carbon Gray, Nitro Blue, and Lightning Purple. It is also available in two RAM/storage configurations – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and also 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
As for the specs of the Realme 3 Pro, it is most certainly amazing:
- 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch
- 2340×1080 pixels in resolution
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset
- 4GB or 6GB RAM
- 64GB or 128GB storage with microSD card slot
- Dual rear-facing cameras
- 16MP f/1.7 camera with PDAF
- 5MP depth sensor
- 25MP selfie camera
- 4,045mAh batter with VOOC 3.0 (5V 4A)
- Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0
What Realme has in store for the 3 Pro is its focus on speed. The Snapdragon 710 is a rather rare chipset in the market right now, and we only tested it out once with the OPPO F17 Pro that we reviewed here. Its performance is way better than commonly-found Snapdragon 660 chipset in the market nowadays too.
To our surprise, this Realme 3 Pro is the first ever Realme smartphone to feature VOOC 3.0. It is a 20W charger which we have talked about during our OPPO F11 Pro review.
Coupled with the new ColorOS 6.0 which wefirst experienced it during our review of the Realme 3, it is certainly a fantastic big upgrade from its predecessor. With it comes a brand new interface and also a new camera app. This new camera app is clean and very intuitive as it brings all of the commonly-used buttons within hand’s reach.
We expect the price of the Realme 3 Pro to be below RM1.5k. Of course, we will be attending the launch on 14th May to and update you with all the details.
