We were doing our routine checks on SIRIM and we found out that there are two new entries for realme products which we have no idea what they are. Luckily for us, SIRIM database has a category for descriptions that tell us more information that we need.
In accordance with the two SIRIM entries, we have a watch with the model name RMA183 and there’s another new smartphone with the model name RMX2040.
RMA183
So far, we have no idea what the watch is. Doing a quick Google search reveals that the realme watch is also certified in a few other country’s SIRIM equivalent. However, there is no further information on what the device will be.
We avoid calling it a “smartwatch” because the realme watch might turn out to be a fitness band instead.
From what we can predict, it could be another fitness band like the Xiaomi Mi Band 4, the HONOR Band 5, and the Samsung Galaxy Fit. They’re all extremely similar to one another.
RMX2040
Currently, the RMX2040 is confirmed to be an entry-level phone. According to SIRIM, the RMX2040 only supports up to N-WiFi, which is a telltale sign of an entry-level phone.
A quick Google search reveals that the RMX2040 will be called the realme 6i. It’s quite weird that the realme 5i was just revealed not too long ago, which we have also reviewed here.
There are no specs of the RMX2040 as of now, but we’re thinking that it wouldn’t take long until the RMX2040 will be announced.
