The Redmi Note 12 series has launched for quite some time but Xiaomi Malaysia decided to add another trio into the mix for the local market.
The new members are like an extension model with the likes of the Note 12 Pro 5G and Note 12 Pro (This is 4G/LTE) in addition to the Note 12S.
While the Note 12 Pro 5G and Note 12 Pro might seem just a little bit different than the previously announced Note 12 Pro+ 5G but the changes are quite noticeable such as the back camera setup. SoC-wise, the standard Note 12 Pro did not use a 5G-compatible chip as it is intended.
On the other hand, the Note 12S guns for the sub-RM1000 category which it technically did with a range of mid-range parts that is soft on the wallet and plentiful enough for daily use (definitely not professional use though).
Anyway, it is easier to tell their differences through a spec sheet.
