The Redmi Note 9 series of smartphones have been already released for about a month or so. But then again, a lot of people are contemplating whether to get the Redmi Note 9S or the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Redmi Note 9 Note 9S Note 9 Pro comparison chart

Other parts of these 3 phones are essentially the same. They’re all running on Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 that is based on Android 10 and the software experience will be similar. However, it is expected that the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset inside the Redmi Note 9 will drain its 5,020mAh battery quicker than its Snapdragon counterparts. Still, it’ll be plentiful to last throughout the day.

We’ve also reviewed the Redmi Note 9S here and gave it our gold medal. For that price, the Redmi Note 9S disrupts the market yet again. It’s just too good to pass.

Oh – by the way, all 3 phones within the Redmi Note 9 series looks really similar between one another. One cosmetic difference is the rim around its rear cameras.

Redmi Note 9 Note 9S Note 9 Pro

Either way, I still highly recommend the Redmi Note 9S with 6GB RAM It’s a steal at RM899. If you need faster charging for its massive 5,020mAh for whatever reason, then the Redmi Note 9 Pro is your choice. Either way, the Redmi Note 9 is still a very capable, 1080p screen, and decent performance to match.
