There comes a time where people were very happy with cases on their phones. I admit that I was one of them too, until sometime during December of 2012, when I was using my Galaxy Nexus without any cases at all. Partly this is due to the fact that there aren’t much cases to choose from and also the phone is nicely shaped with the curve, which I really appreciate its design.
Not long after that, I changed to an European version of the LG Nexus 4. That’s a great phone, but with the glass sandwich, I immediately got a case for it – a bumper case. That bumper case was great – I can appreciate the beauty of it while getting some protection without much additional bulk. However, the sides are still lifted and yet the buttons are really not that pleasant to be pressed.
When I changed to a OnePlus One a while ago, I thought – why not get a skin this time? Then I went on and get a dbrand skin, since they have a beautiful mahogany design for the OnePlus One.
Protection + design – bulk = beauty + original feel
