Yes, we know. The Samsung Galaxy M20 was just launched this morning and here it is – two more smartphones from Samsung but targeting at a completely different audience in the market. Introducing Samsung’s latest reimagining of the A series, the Galaxy A30 and also the Galaxy A50.

Funny enough, they are running the new One UI but it does not have the Bixby button. In turn, Samsung has the option to change the power button to become the Bixby shortcut, and the power button is moved into the notification panel.

This is true for both the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50.

Also, they have triple card slots – two for nano SIM and one more for microSD. By the way – if you are wondering about Samsung Pay or IP68 rating – the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 does not have any of them.

Both the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 will be available starting 22nd March 2019.

The other big difference here is that the Galaxy A30 is Samsung’s mid-range lowest price smartphone that has a Super AMOLED display. Now that is impressive.

In terms of performance, we expect that the Exynos 9610 is similar to the Snapdragon 660 that we are familiar with, though Samsung has the edge on the power efficiency battle as the Exynos 9610 is fabricated with 10nm manufacturing process.

Combined with Samsung’s One UI – which I personally am using and love it a lot, the Galaxy A50 is actually looking to be a major contender in this price range of smartphones.
