We have previously talked about the Samsung Galaxy A51 getting a RAM upgrade from 6GB to 8GB at just a slight RM100 bump to RM1,399 and it definitely gathered a tonne of users within a short period as the device has emerged as the top-selling smartphone in the 1st quarter of 2020.
According to Strategic Analytics, the total units shipped during the period is 6 million units globally, capturing a market share of 2.3%. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A10s has ranked at 4th at 1.6% market share and Samsung Galaxy A20s is at 6th with 1.4% market share.
As part of the A series sales campaign, there is currently an RM100 rebate available when you buy the Galaxy A51 at participating outlets, essentially setting back the price bump and instead, became a free RAM upgrade.
To recap, the Samsung Galaxy A51 comes with Samsung One UI, Samsung Pay, and Edge Panel that focuses on productivity that also shoots great photos at a mid-range price. Check out our review about it.
