Introducing, the Galaxy Buds+. There are a few notable highlights about the Galaxy Buds+. The leaks were true, as the Galaxy Buds+ did have nearly double the battery life compared to its predecessor.
The new Samsung Galaxy Buds+ comes with a few new features too. It now has 2-way speakers – one tweeter and one woofer like my HiFi speaker that I’m using in my room, and a total of 3 microphones for superior voice quality. These microphones are made for an immersive Ambient Sound mode, where you can hear the environment without taking out the Galaxy Buds+.
Another thing to note here is the 11 hours of battery life that Samsung is claiming. It will have another 11 hours of playtime provided by the cradle itself, totaling up to 22 hours of music.
And hey – it is now integrated with Spotify. By pressing one button, we can get recommended music based on our personal listening history. That’s quite interesting.
Samsung also improved how the pairing process works. It seems like we can now pair multiple different devices without needing to unpair and pair every time. This will definitely be great as we can swap from smartphone and smartwatch without needing to re-pairing.
The Galaxy Buds+ also works with iOS devices with the Buds+ app.
So far, there is no official mention of gaming mode for the Galaxy Buds+ like what we saw in the leaks. However, the Galaxy Buds+ will be available on 14th February with the price of USD $149. That’s a surprisingly good price, actually.
