When we first saw the Samsung Galaxy S10 leak here, we already knew that the Galaxy Buds will be launching at the same time as the Galaxy S10 series itself. And we were right – here’s the Galaxy Buds.
The Galaxy Buds is actually functioning like a true wireless earbud (similar to the Sudio Niva) and you need to charge the case to charge the individual earbuds. The two earbuds are not tethered to each other but communicates wirelessly.
The case of the Galaxy Buds has the dimensions of 26.5 x 70 x 38.8mm while weighing in at 41 grams. The case itself has a 252mAh battery. You can wirelessly charge the Galaxy Buds or plug in a USB-C cable at the back of the case.
As for the individual earbuds, it is measured at 19.2 x 17.5 x 22.5mm with the weight of just 6 grams each. Each earbuds come with 58mAh battery.
Once again, we do not have the local pricing or availability date just yet. We will surely be there to report when we have more information. However, pre-ordering the Galaxy S10 series of smartphones might get you a free Galaxy Buds 😉
